WT1 Pro or WT1 Lite: which one should you choose?
The WT1 Pro and the WT1 Lite are two outdoor stations measuring gases, odors, particles and noise. They share the same analytics platform, EllonaSoft, but they do not meet the same need. This guide helps you choose.
The difference in one sentence
The WT1 Pro is designed to monitor emissions as close as possible to the sources, including channelled sources, with more gas sensors and odor quantification correlated with reference standards. The WT1 Lite offers a simplified configuration to monitor a site’s perimeter or an urban environment.

Choose the WT1 Pro if…
- you need to monitor emissions at the source: stacks, biofilters, treatment units, area sources;
- you need to quantify odors with correlation to the EN 13725 and ASTM E679 standards;
- you track many gases in parallel (up to 8 gas sensors);
- you want to trigger remediation actions automatically (via API or wired output).
Choose the WT1 Lite if…
- you monitor the property line of a site, facing local residents;
- you are deploying a measurement network in a city, between regulatory stations;
- a few target gases and total VOCs are enough for your monitoring;
- you are looking for a simpler configuration to deploy on several points.
What if I need both?
This is common: WT1 Pro stations near the main sources and WT1 Lite stations at the site boundary. EllonaSoft brings all stations together on a single dashboard. See our case studies for deployment examples.
And for indoor spaces?
WT1 stations are outdoor stations. For offices, schools, laboratories and public buildings, the POD2 measures CO2, VOCs, particles, odors and noise room by room. For individual dust exposure on construction sites, see Dustkair.
