Making the invisible visible: our commitment
We have a clear mission: to make visible what is not. The air we breathe contains numerous pollutants such as fine particles (PM2.5, PM10), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are often invisible to the naked eye but have real consequences for our health.
- In 2023, it is estimated that over 40,000 premature deaths in France were linked to air pollution.
- Fine particles (PM2.5) can reduce life expectancy by 15 to 24 months in heavily polluted areas.
- Our sensors measure more than 95% of common pollutants with high accuracy, providing actionable real-time data.
At Ellona, we have developed advanced technological solutions that allow for real-time measurement and monitoring of air quality across urban environments, industrial sites, and even private buildings.
Over 4 billion data points per month to take concrete action
Our approach goes far beyond simple data collection. Through our advanced smart sensors and environmental data management platforms, we empower our partners—local authorities, businesses, and individuals—to transform information into actionable solutions.
- Each month, we gather over 4 billion data points from our sensors deployed across urban, industrial, and residential areas.
- Our solutions facilitate significant reductions in pollutant levels by identifying pollution spikes, enabling reductions of up to 30% in fine particulate matter concentrations in targeted intervention zones.
We deliver precise analyses that support informed decision-making, helping to lower pollution levels, anticipate spikes, and mitigate adverse effects on public health.
Whether it’s cities striving to safeguard their residents, industries committed to minimizing their environmental footprint, or building managers eager to enhance the well-being of occupants, our solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each stakeholder.
A breathable future for all
